Care Instructions

Sheepskins and Lambswool Care Instructions

Things to avoid

Do not Tumble dry
Do not dry on a radiator
Do not store in plastic bag
Do not wash with biological washing detergent
Do not use bleach
Hot water will damage the sheepskin

Recommended Care

The method of washing and drying is basically the same for all sheepskin products which is to keep away from direct sunlight as this will change the texture of the wool as it dries, and there should be no artificial heat as this will produce a similar effect, a nice windy dry day is the best you could hope for.

We recommend you use Soapy Suds for the washing of Stephens sheepskins products.

White and Grey Horses

The dyes used in the process of colouring sheepskin wool on rare occasion can cause discolouration to skin and special care should be taken with regard to grey or white horses.
